Humidity Problems
Whenever goods are moved from a hot climate to a cooler climate, condensation will occur because warm air holds more water than cold air. When the temperature inside the container/box is lowered the air will reach the dew point and the water will condense. This is when fungus, mould and mildew occurs, damaging the goods. Worse yet, if the water condenses on the surface of metal products corrosion occurs.

relative humidity.
What's Container Rain And How To Solve
If a container is loaded during high temperatures and the relative humidity is about 80%-90%, then the possibility of condensation occurring is substantial when the temperature is begins to drop. Drypole1000 helps keep the dew point temperature below the actual temperature, even when the actual temperature drops within the shipping container due to temperature fluctuation."Dew Point Temperature"is the temperature at which water vapor begins to condense onto a surface forming liquid water. The liquid that results inside a container is called "Container Rain". Container rain will occur if the surface temperature of an object is equal or lower than the dew point temperature. If the relative humidity is lowed with the absorbing properties of Drypole1000, the dew point temperature is also lowered, stopping container rain.
Absorption Comparison Of Desiccants
The above chart clearly shows that Absorbtech Desiccants have the best absorption capacity than all of the other products tested.
